Ashley Rushing
Ashley Rushing is the Clinical Director of Evolve: A Behavioral Health Center, where she provides compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals and couples throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area. With more than 15 years of experience in behavioral health, Ashley specializes in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, substance use disorders, and perinatal and postpartum mood disorders. A passionate advocate for women's mental health, she is dedicated to helping clients build resilience, improve emotional well-being, and create lasting, meaningful change.
Ashley is a trauma-informed therapist with advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), attachment-based interventions, and Solution-Focused Therapy. She completed specialized CBT training through the Beck Institute, internationally recognized for excellence in the treatment of anxiety and depression. Her integrative, individualized approach helps clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships while developing practical skills that support long-term emotional health.
In addition to her work with individuals, Ashley has extensive experience helping couples strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and deepen emotional connection. Drawing from the Gottman Method and attachment theory, she helps partners navigate conflict and life's transitions with greater understanding and confidence. She also has advanced training in the treatment of substance use disorders, including Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT), having been personally trained by Dr. Kenneth Robinson, co-developer of MRT, and is a certified NARCAN trainer.
Ashley believes that exceptional therapy begins with trust, authenticity, and a strong therapeutic relationship. She strives to create a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment where every client feels seen, supported, and empowered. As Clinical Director of Evolve BHC, she is committed to fostering a practice grounded in clinical excellence, inclusivity, and personalized care, helping clients build healthier relationships, greater resilience, and more fulfilling lives.
Nolte Delk
Nolte Delk is a dedicated therapist who recognizes that every person encounters their own unique set of challenges. Nolte earned a graduate degree in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. She engages with clients in a collaborative manner, bringing in elements of humor, authenticity, and flexibility to her approach.
Nolte provides support to children, teens, adults, and facilitates group therapies. She specializes in areas such as anxiety, depression, substance use, trauma, adjustment challenges, relationship dynamics, and various concerns that impact overall quality of life. She utilizes a variety of strategies drawn from different therapeutic modalities, including strength-based approaches, motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
Nolte prioritizes accessible support and offers options for in-person, virtual, or hybrid assistance. She is available to see new clients and offers appointments on weekdays and in the evenings.
Ilese Ominsky
Ilese currently serves as a licensed psychologist & resident counselor, providing compassionate, evidence-based care to children, adolescents, couples, and adults. Her clinical training includes a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Play Therapy, Art Therapy, and Applied Behavior Analysis. Through these approaches, Ilese helps clients develop greater insight into their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors building practical strategies for healing and growth.
Ilese has specialized training in psychological and psychoeducational assessment and provides student advocacy. She conducts comprehensive psychological and academic and cognitive evaluations, neurodevelopmental, neurodivergent, Trauma, PTSD, ASD and ADHD evaluations for both children and adults.
A hallmark of Ilese’s work is the integration of creativity into therapeutic process. For clients who may find traditional verbal expression challenging, she incorporates art-based interventions & counseling to provide alternative pathways for communication and emotional processing. This approach is especially effective for neurodivergent individuals and those navigating trauma.
Ilese’s work is guided by the belief that mental wellness is foundational to lifelong achievement and well-being. Ilese is currently available to see new clients and offers appointments on weekdays and in the evenings.
Ammal Mahmood
Ammal offers a warm, collaborative, and deeply supportive space where children, teens, adults, couples, families, and older adults can reflect, process, and grow. She partners closely with her clients, helping them uncover their strengths, deepen self‑understanding, and move toward meaningful, sustainable change. Her work is always grounded in each individual’s story, values, and goals, ensuring that every client feels seen, respected, and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey.
She supports clients navigating a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, anger management, family and relationship conflict, grief and loss, trauma, identity exploration, prenatal and postpartum challenges, spiritual concerns, life transitions, and marital or premarital issues. She also provides compassionate care to survivors of abuse and those impacted by it.
Ammal’s approach is flexible, thoughtful, and tailored to the unique needs of each person or family. She draws from several evidence‑based modalities—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution‑Focused Therapy, Expressive Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Person‑Centered Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and Multicultural Counseling—to create a therapeutic experience that truly fits each client.
She offers both in‑person and virtual counseling sessions and is available in English, Urdu, and Hindi. Whether clients are seeking clarity, connection, or healing, Ammal is committed to walking alongside them with warmth, expertise, and unwavering support. She is currently welcoming new clients.
Zoya Nadeem
Zoya Nadeem, operations and billing manager, brings her MBA, operational expertise, and dedication to creating an exceptional client experience. She oversees the administrative, operational and billing functions that support the practice.
As an integral part of the Evolve BHC team, Zoya helps ensure that the practice operates with organization, efficiency, and attention to detail. She takes pride in creating a warm and welcoming experience from the very first interaction, ensuring that each client feels valued, supported, and cared for throughout their experience with Evolve BHC.
Fluent in three languages, Zoya is available to assist prospective and current clients, answer practice inquiries, and help navigate the administrative aspects of care. Her thoughtful approach, professionalism, and commitment to service help bring Evolve BHC’s elevated standard of mental wellness to every client interaction.
Melannie Marquina
Melannie Marquina is a passionate and dedicated medical interpreter, committed to bridging communication gaps in healthcare. They take pride in working with diverse populations, including individuals from various ethnic backgrounds and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
With a strong focus on patient care, Melannie strives to ensure that every individual receives the understanding and support they deserve, regardless of language barriers. Eager to continuously grow and develop in the field, Melannie is devoted to facilitating clear and accurate communication between patients and healthcare providers, fostering inclusivity and empathy in every interaction.
